If there’s one thing I can’t tolerate seeing is bad etiquette at the gym.

I see it nearly every time I work out at the gym.

But maybe it’s not their fault.

Maybe they were never told that there are certain things not to do at the gym.

So, without further ado, please stop breaking these top 10 gym etiquette rules at the gym.

Not cleaning equipment

Yes, the gym can be a dirty place. But it doesn’t always have to be. Many of us leave it dirtier than how we found it.

If you take the time to use equipment, then take time to clean it.

Most gyms now provide spray bottles of cleaning solutions hanging on the wall next to a paper towel dispenser.

If you sweated on any equipment, wipe it up. Whatever handles you touched, clean them. That barbell you used, spray that too.

Spray, wipe, clean, and repeat.
